Whistleblowing
The service for reporting any illegal conduct.
Following the entry into force of Legislative Decree 24/2023 on whistleblowing, CHEDDITE ITALY SRL has set up various reporting channels for any unlawful conduct.
CHEDDITE ITALY SRL fosters an open corporate culture, characterized by ethics, transparency, and responsibility, and inspired by the values that guide us: trust, integrity, courage, passion, and inclusion.
For this reason, CHEDDITE ITALY SRL has set up internal channels for reporting any conduct, whether active or inactive, that is unlawful because it violates laws and regulations, the Group’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, the 231 Organizational Model, as well as the system of rules and procedures in force within the company.
Please note that commercial complaints or disputes and requests related to personal interests are not covered by the aforementioned legislation.
By reporting any non-compliant behavior, the company can identify any irregularities and promptly take the necessary corrective measures, preventing any financial or reputational damage.
Who can report?
Reports may be submitted by employees, self-employed workers, freelancers, interns, volunteers, shareholders who hold company shares, or individuals with administrative, management, control, supervisory, or representation roles, even if such roles are performed merely de facto within the company, who wish to report wrongdoing of which they have become aware by virtue of their employment relationship. The report must be adequately detailed, meaning it must contain sufficient details to verify the reported facts (e.g., information that allows identification of the individuals involved, the context, location, and time period of the reported events, and supporting documentation).

Guarantee of confidentiality and protections
Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023, introduced unified rules for reporting channels and the protections afforded to whistleblowers in the public and private sectors.
The whistleblower, the facilitator, and the persons involved in the report are guaranteed absolute confidentiality. In the case of anonymous reports, the whistleblower’s identity cannot be traced.
Any form of personal or professional retaliation for reporting is neither permitted nor tolerated. If you believe you have suffered retaliation as a result of reporting, you can report it to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) via the dedicated IT platform on the ANAC website.

Some practical tips to protect the anonymity/confidentiality of your report
Signalethic was designed following the principles of privacy and security by design and by default, integrating GDPR requirements into the software development process and by default, right from the start. Traffic to the Signalethic portal is encrypted in transit, while data stored on the platform is encrypted at rest.
To protect your reports, below are some practical guidelines; be sure to implement them for greater cybersecurity and to protect the anonymity/confidentiality of your report:
• use private devices under your control to make reports or to consult reports you have already made;
• use an incognito browsing window if possible;
• keep your credentials in protected places where there is no risk of sharing them with anyone;
• make sure you do not report or access the Signalethic portal in public or in places where the activity you perform on your screen can be seen by other individuals;
• Access the Signalethic portal only through a secure internet connection and a private network to protect your internet traffic before it reaches the platform.
Reports to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) via external channels.
If, after filing a report, you do not receive acknowledgement of receipt and/or feedback on the follow-up given to the report, or you have reasonable grounds to believe (based on specific circumstances and information actually available) that the internal report will not be effectively followed up or that it could lead to retaliation, or that the violation may constitute an imminent or manifest danger to the public interest, you can submit a report to ANAC via the dedicated platform on the Agency’s website.
